Integration with Microsoft Teams and Adaptive Cards
5.4 Integration with Microsoft Teams and Adaptive Cards
ACTIONBRIDGE is deeply integrated with Microsoft Teams to streamline your workflow where your team already communicates. From task creation to notifications, everything is built to work naturally within the Teams environment.
Teams Tab Integration
- Each project in ACTIONBRIDGE can be linked to a specific Teams channel tab.
- Within the tab, users can access the full task board, create new tasks, and collaborate in real-time — without leaving Teams.
- If the project is already linked to another channel, you must disconnect it before linking to a new one.
Adaptive Card Notifications
- When key task events occur (e.g. comment added, task assigned), ACTIONBRIDGE can send Adaptive Cards to a Teams channel or chat.
- These cards provide:
- Task title and status
- Comment previews
- Action buttons (e.g. Open Task)
- Cards are fully interactive and mobile-friendly.
How Mentions Work
- When commenting on a task, users can tick members to notify — instead of typing
@username. - Only members of the project are shown in the mention list.
- These mentions trigger Teams notifications if the project is linked to a channel.
Authentication and Permissions
- Users are authenticated via their Microsoft account (Azure AD).
- Teams context is used to determine user identity and team membership.
- Only registered users with valid licenses can use the web version of ACTIONBRIDGE.
With Adaptive Cards and deep Teams integration, ACTIONBRIDGE ensures your team stays informed, responsive, and collaborative — all inside the platform you already use every day.
