Installing the ACTIONBRIDGE Teams App
4.1 Installing the ACTIONBRIDGE Teams App
ACTIONBRIDGE is available as a Microsoft Teams app, allowing you to manage tasks and collaborate without leaving your workspace. You can install it for personal use or as a tab within a team channel.
Installation Options
- Personal App: Adds ACTIONBRIDGE to your left-hand Teams navigation bar. Ideal for quick access to your assigned tasks across projects.
- Channel Tab: Adds ACTIONBRIDGE to a specific team channel, linking it to a project and enabling team-wide collaboration.
How to Install the App
- Open Microsoft Teams.
- Click on Apps from the left menu.
- Search for ACTIONBRIDGE in the app store.
- Click Add to install it as a personal app, or choose a team/channel to install as a tab.
Adding ACTIONBRIDGE as a Tab
- Navigate to the desired team channel.
- Click the + (plus icon) to add a new tab.
- Search for and select ACTIONBRIDGE.
- Choose an existing project to link, or follow the prompts to create a new one.
- Once linked, all members of the channel can access the project directly from the tab.
Important Notes
- Each project can only be linked to one Teams tab at a time.
- If the project is already linked elsewhere, you'll be prompted to unlink it first.
- Users must have a valid Microsoft 365 license to access the app and join a project.
Tips
- Pin the ACTIONBRIDGE personal app to your sidebar for easier access.
- Install in each team/channel where you need structured task tracking.
- Use the tab name (e.g., “Tasks – Marketing”) to reflect the project’s purpose.
Once installed, you’re ready to connect your team, assign tasks, and stay aligned — all inside Microsoft Teams.
