Managing Team Settings
3.4 Managing Team Settings
Each project in ACTIONBRIDGE includes a set of configurable settings that help you tailor the workspace to your team’s needs. These settings are accessible only to users with the Admin role for that project.
Accessing Team (Project) Settings
- Click on the gear icon or open the Settings tab from within the project interface.
- Only project Admins will see this option.
Key Settings You Can Manage
- Project Name & Description: Update the project title and summary at any time.
- Linked Teams Tab: View or unlink the current Microsoft Teams channel tab connection.
- Roles & Members: Add or remove members, assign roles, or view active users.
- Workflow Settings: Configure task statuses, priority labels, and other workflow elements.
- Notifications: Enable or disable in-app and Teams notifications for new comments, assignments, and status changes.
Managing the Teams Tab Link
- Each project can only be linked to one Teams channel tab at a time.
- If you want to connect the project to a different channel, you must unlink it first from the settings panel.
- This ensures clarity and avoids accidental cross-team access.
Tips
- Review settings after a major project milestone or team change.
- Use naming conventions for projects if you manage many (e.g.,
ClientA-Q3). - Disable unnecessary notifications to reduce message fatigue in Teams.
By keeping your project settings up to date and properly scoped, you ensure your team stays organized, secure, and aligned with how work is actually done.
