Adding or Removing Members
3.2 Adding or Removing Members
In ACTIONBRIDGE, members are managed per project. This gives you control over access and roles, while keeping user identity and licensing consistent across your Microsoft 365 tenant.
Automatic Member Registration (via Microsoft Teams)
- If a user is already a member of the Microsoft Teams channel or team where the ACTIONBRIDGE tab is installed, they can join the linked project automatically.
- Upon opening the tab, the user will be prompted to confirm their display name (if not already registered), and will then be added to the project as a member.
- License availability in the tenant is required for access.
Manually Adding Members (Web or Admin Panel)
- Go to the Project Settings page and open the Members tab.
- Click Add Member and select from users in your Microsoft 365 tenant.
- Assign one of the roles: Admin, Editor, or Viewer.
Roles and Permissions
- Admin: Full control over settings, members, workflows, and tasks.
- Editor: Can create, edit, and comment on tasks.
- Viewer: Can view tasks and comments but cannot make changes.
- Admins can update roles anytime from the Members tab.
Removing Members
- In the Members tab, click the Remove icon next to the user.
- Removed users lose access immediately, but their activity history remains visible.
Tips
- Use Microsoft Teams channel membership to onboard users seamlessly.
- Only users from the same Microsoft 365 tenant with available licenses can be added.
- Keep Viewer roles for external stakeholders or read-only participants.
With automatic and manual member management, ACTIONBRIDGE makes it easy to scale your team securely — while ensuring every user has the right role and context within each project.
