Inviting Team Members via Microsoft Teams

1.5 Inviting Team Members

ACTIONBRIDGE is now designed to be accessed and provisioned exclusively through Microsoft Teams. All team onboarding is handled via the Teams app — ensuring licensing, identity, and access are aligned with your Microsoft 365 tenant.

How Team Members Join

  • Users can simply open the ACTIONBRIDGE tab installed in a Teams channel, or install the ACTIONBRIDGE app from the Teams store.
  • If they are not yet registered, they will be redirected to a quick registration screen where they enter a display name.
  • The rest of the setup is automatic — no email invitation or password setup required.
  • Note: The user must have an available license within your Microsoft 365 tenant to complete registration.

Accessing the Web Version

  • The web app is now restricted to users who have already registered through Microsoft Teams.
  • New sign-ups are not supported via the web — users must be provisioned via Teams first.
  • This ensures all access is managed under your organization’s Microsoft licensing and security policies.

Managing Roles and Access

  • Admins can configure roles (Admin, Member, Viewer) from the Members tab inside ACTIONBRIDGE.
  • All users are mapped to their Microsoft identity and tenant context automatically.

Tips

  • Install the ACTIONBRIDGE tab in a shared channel to allow the whole team to onboard quickly.
  • Monitor license availability in your Microsoft 365 admin center to ensure users can register.

This streamlined onboarding approach ensures secure, tenant-controlled access and seamless integration with your Microsoft Teams environment.

I spend as much time simplifying as I do coding—because making things easy is part of the product. I build systems that work beautifully and explain themselves.
