Who Can See What?

7.4 Who Can See What?

ACTIONBRIDGE is designed with clear visibility controls to help teams collaborate effectively while protecting sensitive information. Here's how task visibility and access permissions work across the platform.

Default Visibility Rules

  • Tasks: Visible to all project members unless marked as Private.
  • Private Tasks: Only visible to assignees and admins.
  • Comments: All users who can see the task can view and add comments.
  • Subtasks: Inherit visibility from their parent task.

Access Based on Roles

  • Admin: Full access to all tasks, members, and project settings.
  • Editor: Can create, edit, assign, and comment on tasks within the project.
  • Viewer: Can only view tasks and comments but cannot modify content.

Special Cases

  • If a task is shared via link (internal only), only project members can open it.
  • Comments that mention users (ticked during comment) notify only those selected.
  • In Microsoft Teams, visibility follows the same permissions but is scoped to the linked project.

For enterprise customers, additional permissions can be configured (e.g., field-level visibility, read-only audit viewers). Contact support for advanced setup.
